Dear colleagues,
Update for you about a Shelter NSW conference, ‘Housing well being and the city’
The ‘early bird’ cut-off date is only a week away — April 2. It’s easy to register online here.
Poorer and increasingly middle income households are finding it very difficult to house themselves affordably, let alone find their housing in the right place. This is a challenge for regional cities as well as for Sydney.
This conference is well-timed after the recent NSW election, to focus on the role that good housing policy can play in overcoming inequality.
The conference is being held on April 23, at the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre, Surry Hills, Sydney.
It is sponsored by Bridge Housing and Women’s Housing Company.
