Self-assessment Tool for NGO Standards

08/11/2015

NOTE: nominations close Friday 6 November 2015

Expressions of interest are now being sought from non-government organisations (NGOs) interested in piloting a new self-assessment tool for NGO standards during November 2015. The tool assesses an organisation’s capability against six customer-centred and four corporate governance standards. The results will assist NGOs to identify opportunities for building internal capability.
The standards are designed to complement and build on existing NGO accreditation and certification schemes in the human services sector, whilst at the same time ensuring that NGOs not currently subject to those schemes are operating to similar standards.

The more diverse the participants in the pilot, the more constructive the feedback will be.
Nominations close on Friday 6 November 2015 via email here.

Please contact Donna in our office here for further information and the following forms:

–       Nominations for the self-assessment pilot

The Department of Finance, Services and Innovation will engage an independent body to conduct the pilot, ensuring probity and confidentiality for all NGO participants.
