About the industry forum
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is coming.
To prepare community housing providers the NSW Federation of Housing Associations (The Federation) is holding a one day industry forum on the role of community housing in the provision of housing and support for people with a disability.
This event is sponsored by The Community and Private Market Housing Directorate of FACS-Housing NSW (CAPMH).The Chairman of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Bruce Bonyhady, will deliver a key note presentation. Bruce will give valuable insights into the current policy direction around the NDIS and the provision of housing for people with a disability.
Practical, on the ground learnings from the NDIS Hunter Trials will be shared for the first time.
Key players from the NDIA, community housing, specialists and government will also present.
