CHI staff Rob and Donna were able to speak to many attendees at the NCOSS-hosted Sydney Festival for Civil Society Anniversary Conference on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Carriageworks, Eveleigh, Sydney.
This event was part of NCOSS’ 80th birthday celebrations and was being held during Australia’s Anti-Poverty Week, where Australians are encouraged to organise or take part in activities to highlight or overcome issues of poverty and hardship.
NCOSS’ Sydney Festival for Civil Society Anniversary Conference provided an opportunity for representatives from NSW communities to come together to share ideas, experiences and knowledge about how we can best reduce the
number of people experiencing poverty in our state.
