Faith Housing Alliance is the peak body supporting the faith housing sector. Its members include community housing providers, concerned individuals and supporting organisations, united to achieve housing for all.
Our members believe in social justice, compassion, respect, and integrity. Our member organisations are some of Australia’s most respected and long-serving charities, providing specialist homelessness services, emergency relief and long-term social and affordable rental housing in communities across Australia.
Faith Housing Alliance is committed to partnering with governments to rapidly increase housing supply and deliver vital wrap-around supports needed to help end homelessness for good and to give hope.

From its earliest days, Faith Housing Alliance has sought to shine a light on the injustice that many experience in relation to housing. Faith Housing Alliance has been characterised by committed people who refuse to give up until change occurs. Since the mid-1990s, we have had many champions of change in the Alliance who never gave up on the work, influencing outcomes and legislation as transformative advocates.
Today, across our membership are transformative leaders heading up major organisations from across the faiths who fight every day alongside their teams to protect the vulnerable in our community.
Like our early heroes, we continue to work with the faith sector towards the compassionate relief of poverty, distress or disadvantage suffered by individuals or families in New South Wales.
